We may modify our terms and conditions from time to time and your continued use of the site after any such changes denotes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the revised terms.
We recommend that you keep a copy of the terms for future reference and that you should check back regularly for any changes. If you disagree with any changes, then you are required to discontinue use of the Site.
Changes will apply to subsequent orders we receive; they will not affect an order that has already been placed and confirmed, unless we are required to make the change by law.REGISTRATION

Upon making your choice and placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is not an acceptance of your order and we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. All items are subject to stock availability and we will inform you as soon as possible if any or all the products in your order are not available and we will cancel your order.
We will not be accountable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any goods from the Site regardless of whether that merchandise has been sold or not; removing, screening or editing any material or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in any event, including, but not limited to, us being unable to obtain authorisation for payment, shipping restrictions being applied to a particular item, the item ordered being out of stock or not satisfying our quality and control standards and thus being withdrawn.
Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and GIGI VINTAGE will be completed when we have sent you an email to confirm that the goods have been despatched.
If a product listed on our Site should be incorrectly priced, despite our best efforts, and we discover there is a pricing error, we will normally at our discretion either: (i) contact you and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it altogether; or (ii) reject your order and notify you of the rejection.PAYMENT

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and are correct at the time of the information being entered onto the system. The total cost of the order equals the price of the product(s) ordered plus the delivery charge.
For international orders or for customers whose debit/credit card is not denominated in GBP, the actual price charged to the customer will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer’s credit or debit card company on the day they process the transaction. Overseas customers outside of the United Kingdom will be liable for any customs/import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are solely responsible for clearing the merchandise with your local customs authorities and for paying any dues or duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country selected by you for shipment which may be payable in connection with that importation. Customs charges vary greatly between countries, so we strongly urge you to contact your local customs authority prior to completing your purchase in order to determine the respective customs policies.
When ordering products from GIGI VINTAGE you will be required to provide accurate payment details and you warrant that the payment details provided upon ordering are valid and correct. You confirm that the debit/credit card that is being used belongs to you or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the card to use it. All debit/credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Should the issuer of your payment card refuse or fail to authorise payment to GIGI VINTAGE for any reason, we cannot be held responsible for any delay or non-delivery of the order. The Site is available only to individuals who have been issued a valid debit/credit card by a bank acceptable to GIGI VINTAGE.
By making an offer to purchase merchandise from GIGI VINTAGE, you expressly authorise us to conduct credit checks. We may also use your information for the purposes of fraud prevention and detection. Your information may be disclosed to fraud prevention or other credit reference agencies, who may keep a record of that information.
We take all reasonable care to make our Site safe and secure. All debit/credit card transactions on this Site are processed using Sagepay, a secure online payment gateway. To help ensure that you undergo a safe, simple and secure shopping experience GIGI VINTAGE uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Account discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered.
Promotional discount codes may from time to time be offered, which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though the Site.
There may be additional conditions specific to each discount code which will specified at the time of issue.
GIGI VINTAGE reserves the right to terminate any discount codes without notice. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or voucher and only one code will be accepted against each order unless otherwise stated. GIGI VINTAGE reserves the right the right to refuse any discount code that is deemed invalid or fraudulent and expired discount codes will not be accepted. This offer may be withdrawn at any time at our discretion. The return value of item(s) purchased using any offer, promotion or voucher shall be the applicable return value under GIGI VINTAGE’s return policy less the percentage discount obtained. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are valid for a limited time only and the voucher must be used by the date shown on the voucher received via email – check the email for the date it is to be used by. We cannot accept responsibility for any stolen or deleted gift vouchers.
Your gift voucher will be despatched via email once payment has cleared (we aim to despatch within 5 days of payment clearing). We cannot be held accountable for any delays. If you are the purchaser who is ordering the gift voucher, it is your responsibility to double check the delivery email address you enter. We cannot be held responsible if a gift voucher is sent to the incorrect email address or if it is used by someone other than the intended recipient if the email address entered is incorrect. We also cannot take responsibility for any gift vouchers that are lost or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure the recipient has indeed received their gift voucher and it is then their responsibility to keep the voucher details safe.
From time to time, gift vouchers may get caught in spam filters and it is the recipient’s responsibility to check these filters. We are not liable for any gift vouchers that cannot be delivered to the recipient’s email address due to spam filters, firewalls, the capacity of the recipient’s mailbox or any other factors outside of our control.DELIVERY
We currently offer standard delivery and next day delivery to UK mainland customers using Royal Mail.Standard delivery:
We aim to despatch all mainland UK standard orders within 3 working days with delivery between 3-5 working days. However, sometimes during busy periods or due to factors outside of our control, deliveries may take longer. Most orders are usually delivered within 1 or 2 working days of placing an order. If you have not received your order within 10 working days, please contact our customers services department. We cannot be held responsible for any missing parcels or for any parcels that are not delivered/collected due to you being out. Once the parcel leaves us, it is your responsibility.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands and AB postcodes will take longer to arrive. We aim to deliver standard orders within 5-7 working days to Northern Ireland and AB postcodes and 7 working days to the Highlands and Islands. During busy periods, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery to Northern Ireland and 10 working days for delivery to the Highlands and Islands.
Our couriers typically deliver Monday to Friday, 8am - 7pm. Please note Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days for standard deliveries.Next Day delivery:

You can check the current status of your shipment by signing into your account and selecting PREVIOUS ORDERS. All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If you are not available at the time you have arranged with the courier you may be exposed to additional delivery costs. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.RETURNS
We accept returns on items up to 7 days from the day after receiving the order for both UK customers and international customers. You must inform us within 7 days that you wish to return the item via email at email@example.com with details about the item(s) you wish to return along with the exact reason you wish to return it/them. We will acknowledge your email and provide you with a unique returns number. Upon our reply, you must post the item back to us in its original condition using a secure delivery method. We request that you return your item to us within 14 days of us providing you with a unique returns number. Please obtain proof of postage when returning items as we cannot be held liable for items that go missing in the post. You, as the customer, are responsible for paying the cost of returning the item to us. If we do not receive the order back, we may arrange to have it collected at your cost and we will be able to make a claim. The item must be in its original unworn and unused condition that it was in when you received it. As all our items are usually in worn/vintage condition, all items will be carefully inspected upon receipt using a strict quality control process to ensure the item has not been worn before returning. If, for any reason, we feel the item is not in its original condition as when it was despatched to you, we have the right to refuse the refund.
If we are happy with the condition of the returned item, we will refund the payment and send you an email with confirmation of this. UK customers will be refunded the amount they paid for the item(s) plus original standard postage. Next day delivery costs will not be refunded. International customers including customers in the Republic of Ireland will not be refunded the original postage. All refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment. If the item was bought using a discount code or was sold at a reduced sale price, the amount issued as a refund will reflect the exact price that was paid for the item (i.e. you will not receive a refund for the full-priced item; either the price of the item minus the discount or the amount of the sale price will be credited). You must check and adjust all your email account filters and settings to enable emails to be received from us.
Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through GIGI VINTAGE. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. Please be aware that international customers may need to pay any cost difference, additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
Your UK statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.PRODUCTS
We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Site. However, as the actual colours you see will vary according to your individual monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product upon delivery.
We provide approximate modern day sizing information and approximate measurements of each and every item. All this information on the sizing and measurements is approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Unless otherwise stated, the sizes indicated are UK sizes. All measurements on clothing are taken with the items laid flat. Sometimes our products are pinned in places to fit our model better to give you a better idea of how it will look on, but we will always state this in the product details if this is the case. We are not liable for any items that do not fit you correctly upon delivery. Please refer to the size guide for clarification on how to measure yourself properly.
All our items unless otherwise stated are genuine vintage products so are expected to have some general wear and tear to them. Some of our products are deadstock from previous periods (for example, deadstock from the 1970s), which means the product is old stock that has not been sold and has thus been stored for many years. Although this deadstock product may have been unused or unworn, general wear during storage must be expected. Sometimes packaging, tags or the item itself may show signs of wear because of this. Many vintage garments were handmade too, so sometimes the seams or threads are not perfectly sewn. Each item is carefully examined by our quality control team and we provide information on the general condition of each and every item and endeavour to specify any notable flaws. We are not liable for any errors on this information, nor on information about the details, descriptions and prices of products and we reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including the wear and tear, as well as prices and promotions.
We recommend that you wash our clothing items before wearing them and give our footwear/bags/accessories a good clean. Where we state in the item description that the condition is 'excellent' or 'very good' etc, this is by 'used' standards. This does not mean that the item is in perfect condition, so you must still expect some general wear and tear upon receipt.
For the purposes of photography, the models in our images are wearing items of clothing, footwear and accessories in addition to the item on offer for sale to help style the outfit. These additional accessories are not included in the sale of the product in question; they are merely used for styling purposes. This includes all belts, jewellery, footwear, hats etc that may be worn in addition to the item on sale, none of which are included in the sale.
Some of our products are by well-known fashion designers which have been carefully sourced and supplied to us by various reputable vintage dealers around the world. We are not affiliated with any of the designer brands we stock on our Site and none of these designer brand companies have endorsed, recommended or approved the items we sell on our Site. While we have been guaranteed by our suppliers that these items are 100% authentic, we are not liable for any items that may not be authentic or genuine. We do not usually get the original authenticity cards or paperwork etc for our designer items, as we are sure you can appreciate the age of these items, so they have probably got lost along the way. Nevertheless, we are lucky to get our hands on some pieces that do come with original paperwork and if this is the case, we will state this in the individual item description within the product details. If you require proper authenticity documents for designer goods and they are not available for the item(s) you wish to purchase, we strongly recommend that you do not purchase from us.

All our goods are subject to availability. Due to the delay between the time when the order is actually placed and the time when the order is actually accepted, the stock position relating to the item in question may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock item(s).

Please note we comply with the Sale of Goods Act and the Distance Selling regulations. We ensure that the level of consumer protection is at a standard that is in compliance with all state directives.
Customers have a 7 day cooling-off period and all refunds under the Distance Selling Act will be made within 30 days. Monetary cash refunds will be made where we have grossly misrepresented the product.
We will usually refund you what you paid for the goods but not the delivery charge except in cases where the order was cancelled under the UK Distance Selling Regulations or the entire order was faulty.CONTENT
